Cafa advised Medical Consolidated Inc. an affiliate of Montreal-based SDP Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of operating room sponges and dressings, in its acquisition of Colorado Hypotube Inc.,  a precision manufacturer specializing in small diameter metal tube and wire products, for the medical sector.

Cafa advised 9518-2085 Québec Inc. in its acquisition of Scanmeg Inc., a manufacturer of presence detector and measurement systems for industrial solutions.

Navacord, one of Canada’s largest commercial insurance brokers, has acquired TCIM, a managing general agent (MGA) headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Cafa sourced this investment opportunity for Navacord.

Cafa acted as financial advisor to FH Métal, a Breton group of companies specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of metal structures (doors, staircases, railings and other metal architectural items), in the acquisition of Escalier Hélicoïdal Indutriel (EHI), located in the Paris region.

Les Aliments LUDA Foods, a creator of soups, sauces and custom blends for the food service and industrial markets since 1951, has acquired Delmare Quality Foods of Toronto. Cafa acted as exclusive financial advisor to Luda for the acquisition and its financing.

Cafa advised demountable glass office wall system manufacturer Muraflex in its acquisition of LMT Group, a manufacturer and distributor of steel doors and hardware  for commercial and institutional markets.

Cafa advised Groupe Europlastiques Canada Inc. in the acquisition of the remaining equity interest in IML-PLASTX Inc., which became a wholly owned subsidiary, and its related financing. IML-PLASTX is a Quebec-based manufacturer of injection-molded plastic food containers including In-Mold Labeling.

Cafa advised 11473921 Canada Inc.’s shareholders in the acquisition of financing of M.O.M. (Montreal Office Maintenance), a commercial cleaning franchisor.

Cafa advised Viscan Fasteners in negotiating the purchase and financing necessary to acquire Evolution Fasteners, a distributor of high performance fasteners for the construction, building products, industrial and manufacturing industries across Canada.

Cafa advised the acquirer in purchasing all of the shares of Apex Precision, a company specializing in precision material transformation and assembly, primarily for the aerospace, medical and precision equipment industries.

Cafa advised AEIB, a France-based specialist in ventilating systems, in negotiating the acquisition and financing of Les Aciers Monaco. The acquisition helped AEIB establish a presence in Canada.

Cafa advised a French national entrepreneur and shareholder of 9375-7433 Québec Inc. to negotiate the acquisition and financing of Les Spécialistes Fyonas, a player in inspection and maintenance of mechanical systems, allowing him to immigrate to Canada with his family.
