Émilie Matton joined Cafa in 2024, bringing extensive experience in capital markets and asset management to the team. Her background provides valuable insights into business valuation, capital allocation, competitive analysis, and portfolio management.

Émilie began her professional career in sell-side equity sales at global investment bank, Jefferies in New York, where she developed a deep understanding of capital formation and a strong foundation in public market dynamics. She next moved on to Pembroke Management where she specialized in small- to mid-cap growth North American companies. This experience helped her develop a nuanced understanding of growth strategies and business models across a wide range of industries, including consumer staples, consumer discretionary, industrial services, and materials.

Émilie’s expertise spans a variety of key areas such as business valuation, risk assessment, and investment decision-making, allowing her to navigate complex investment environments. Her approach is informed by a well-rounded perspective on capital markets, providing unique insights into portfolio management and market dynamics.

Émilie graduated from HEC Montreal with a Master of Science in Finance (MSc Finance) and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in finance. Émilie holds the CFA designation.
